Hire the Hall

An idyllic setting next to the river with full bar facilities
for your private party or wedding, event, class or group.
Calstock Village Hall is available for private hire. With its river views, and fully equipped kitchen and bar, it is perfect for weddings, events, private parties, classes, groups, and any other celebrations.

The newly revamped hall has a set of fully acoustic dividing doors for different capacity options. You can hire the whole space or just one of the halls separately, depending on availability. The main hall opens out onto a patio area with stunning views of the river.

HALL HIRE PRICING - from October 2024

One-off hire (min. 2 hours):
- £25/hr daytimes until 5pm at weekends.
- After 5pm Fri/Sat £350 with the bar for 4 hours,m £400 for whole hall.
- Commercial hire - price on application.
- Second Hall £18/hr at weekends, £14 during the week.

Regular Users (min. 2 hours):
- Main hall - £16/hr.
- Second hall - £12/hr.

Local Charity Hire (each charity allowed one discounted hire/year):
- Whole Hall, weekend night from 5pm £200.
- Weekend daytime £15/hr.

Kitchen Hire:
- £15/hour.

Having grown up in the village, I knew there was only one place to celebrate our special wedding day.

Following on from a ceremony at Calstock Church, we headed down into the village. Many of our guests hadn’t visited the village before and were in awe of the beautiful views of the river Tamar and viaduct. The patio area provided a great space for welcome drinks and a hog roast. The hall have recently installed a large glass wall/sliding doors which meant we could continue to enjoy the view when we were also inside.

Our catering team used the fully equipped kitchen to heat up and prepare food and the bar was managed by friendly helpful staff and well stocked with a variety of drinks.

A special thank you to Matt who was a superstar and helped us throughout with requests.

The venue is a fantastic facility with plenty of space inside and out with plenty of parking outside, making it a great option for a whole range of events. Overall we had a wonderful wedding day and we have the Calstock Village Hall to thank for that!!
